Find local board certified plastic surgeons that specialize in buttock lifts
The buttock lift, often called a saddle lift, lifts the buttocks crease upward and inward toward the middle. The incision is placed near the midline. Some skin tissue is removed and the skin is drawn together, lifting the medial thigh, as well as the buttocks crease.
This procedure can be performed under local anesthesia as an outpatient and is best suited for those patients who have loose skin around their posterior and medial thighs. The procedure is often done in conjunction with liposuction, in which case some significant improvements are possible. However, it is important to know that this is not a weight reduction procedure, but one to tighten the saddlebag and posterior area.

After Buttock Lift Surgery
There will be some discomfort for several days following the procedure as the incisions heal that should be controllable with medication. The sutures will dissolve in a few days. Some swelling is to be expected, but should subside in a few days. It is necessary to wear a light compression garment for two or three weeks following surgery. Generally, it will be necessary to miss about a week of work and heavy activity should be avoided for an additional couple weeks.
There are only a few possible complications from this procedure. Because of the location of the incision area, wound infection is a possibility. This can be controlled, if it occurs, with appropriate medication. Any asymmetry can usually be corrected by a touch-up procedure.
