Education

Dr. Young earned his undergraduate degree from the respected United States Military Academy at West Point before completing his medical degree at Tulane Medical School in 1975.

Experience in San Antonio

After completing a general surgery residency at Brooke Army Medical Center, San Antonio in 1980, Dr. Young went on to become the Chief of Plastic Surgery, where he performed many types of major reconstructive procedures. Dr. Young is a member of the Bexar County Medical Society, the Texas Medical Association, and the San Antonio Plastic Surgery Society. He has also been named a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is a member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Young has 11 years of experience at his San Antonio office.
