Liposuction Recovery

Many factors can contribute to your recovery experience. A patient can typically expect several days of discomfort followed by a few weeks of restricted physical activity during the post-operative period. Pain medication is prescribed to you prior to surgery to minimize your discomfort. Many of our patients return to work within a few days but strenuous physical activity should be avoided for a few weeks. If you have any concerns about the recovery period, you should discuss it with Dr. Harrell.
